Cartwheel Exploration is a private company established in 2015 to explore for gold in Victoria. Cartwheel Exploration combines modern technologies with lineament analysis skills and turbidite-hosted orogenic gold exploration expertise to seek new gold resources in the west and central Victoria regions. The lineament analysis utilises the methods developed by Dr E. S. T. O‘Driscoll as demonstrated in the targeting and discovery of Olympic Dam and several other deposits.

Rodolfo (Rudy) Gomez is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy with over 40 years of experience in the mining industry.

Over the last 23 years he has developed new technologies in areas including metal extraction, new energy, clean coal, water disinfection and materials grinding.

Following his discovery of the Carrapateena iron oxide, copper-gold-uranium-rare earth deposit in South Australia in 2005, Rudy accelerated his new technology development and now holds 45 world patents.

In 2011, his environmental technologies received China's 'Future Giant' Award.
